Original Choreography

"Dance Like You've Never Danced Before"

Originality is at the heart of what we do

Our move for unqiue choreography

The whole concept of Ariantella dance company was born way back in the 1990s, when a very young Natasha-Lea Gibbs began to dream of a show that had never at that point been done before in dance – Jack the Ripper! This seed slowly grew in her mind over the next couple of decades before the company was actually finally born and our first feature length show, Jack, based on the notorious Victorian serial killer was created.

This dream is what we founded the company on – original choreography rather than our own take on someone else’s show. Everything we do at Ariantella, from the ground up, is our own work.

We take inspiration from history, culture and themes from around the world so that we can find interesting new stories to tell through dance. Our choreography is designed specifically to invoke the feelings, mood and setting of these stories whilst charming, entertaining and engaging our audiences.

The aim of our work is to do something original that you will remember and take away with you in your mind and your heart.
